Claudia Armann is an author of contemporary fiction featuring Latina protagonists. Her short stories have been published by Acentos Review and Latin@ Literatures. Her writing has been recognized with mentorships with Latinx in Publishing and AWP —the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. After earning a journalism degree, Claudia spent five years in the magazine industry before pivoting to a career in philanthropy. She is the daughter of Latin American immigrants. Her family background and years working with the Latinx community inform her writing. Claudia lives and thrives on the California coast where she enjoys bird watching, hiking, and gardening.
